Linkin Park - The Hunting Party China Tour

The LP boys are back in town! Well, almost - they are set to blow the lid off of Shenzhen, with the tracks from their new album The Hunting Party. The band will be headlining stadiums at five major cities across the motherland this month, for what is being billed as supposedly the largest Chinese tour by an international rock group - ever! As you can imagine, this is causing an excited stir online as hordes are scrambling to get their pass, so if you’re keen you’ll have to fight for them. But no amount of fame seems to faze Mike Shinoda and co. - the humble big-hearted rockers will be donating US$1 of every ticket sold to Music For Relief, a foundation they set up in 2005 that aims to provide proper relief for victims of natural disasters across four continents.

Time: 7.30pm

Venue: CR Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Stadium

Tickets: $500 - 2250 via cityline

Blur - Live in Hong Kong

For those of you who can’t trek to Shenzhen for whatever reason, here’s another smasher, plus it’s on Hong Kong soil. Anyone remember when we last welcomed these Britpop legends in 2013? They sent Hong Kong into an absolute tizzy when they announced on stage, that they’d be checking out the city for a few days, and sent shockwaves through the underground when they were spotted on the MTR! Early this year, Blur announced the release of their new album The Magic Whip which features tracks recorded at Avon Studios in Kowloon, on that very trip. Let's make this show in the 852 one that Blur - one of the most successful and iconic Brit bands of the last couple decades - never forgets. WOOOHOOO!
