This spectacular console and mirror in two-tone ivory/cream lacquered wood with brass trim, was designed by French movie star Alain Delon for Maison Jansen circa the 1970s. Glamourous design and balanced proportions with the raised and brass-edged display top supplemented by the elegant scalloped fluted corners in the darker shade and highlighted by brass inlays signed Alain Delon. It was purchased from a furniture dealer in Belgium. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Please note that these classic collector pieces are likely to escalate in price. The only reason for the sale is to downsize to a smaller apartment.
