My name is Mr. Wong and I am a full time private math tutor, specializing in tutoring Mathematics to students attending INTERNATIONAL, LOCAL, and OVERSEAS SCHOOLS. I graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada (UBC) in Engineering and have been tutoring both primary and secondary school students for many years. I have over 15 years experience in tutoring individuals and am familiar with IGCSE, GCSE, GCE A-Level, IB, MYP, PYP, American, Canadian, Australian, Singapore’s, and HKDSE local school curriculum. In addition, I help students prepare for their SAT, ACT and various school entrance exams. I can also help adult students brush up their math skills and knowledge to enable them to handle more complex math related tasks at work. My current and past students have said that I am gifted in explaining complex subjects in a patient and easily understandable manner.

With COVID still present and easily spreading in our city, along with the seasonal flu, people are getting sick more often than before. This is causing more problems and interruptions in our daily lives and can also make it harder for students to learn. In view of this, as an alternative, zoom lessons are also offered at the moment. I have designed the content of zoom lessons to be identical to face-to-face lessons. With the use of a laptop, tablet and screen sharing software, it is just like I am physically there, tutoring the students at home. Interactions between tutor and student are preserved throughout the entire zoom session. There is no degradation in tutorial quality using my zoom lessons.
