Ultimate Performance Featured

Ultimate Performance was founded for one simple reason, to create the most effective method of personal training in the world.

Powered by a transformative business model, proprietary technology, tried and tested methodology, and some of the best fitness industry brains in the world, we’ve rewritten the rules and changed the game. By giving clients a tangible return on their investment and trainers a career path that in the past they could only have ever dreamed about, we’ve revolutionised the Personal Training industry and are the acknowledged global leaders in our field.

Whilst many of life’s necessities have evolved into the 21st century, the fitness industry has largely been left behind to scrabble amongst the faddish and systemically lower quality. In fitness they want your money and give you gimmicks to get it. We exist to counteract this view completely. Yes, we want your money too, but we want it long term and we know that we need you to be as evangelical about our product as we are. That means adding value to your results and your experience are our lifeblood.

We are constantly driven by the incredible sense of fulfillment we feel when we help someone achieve their goals. We believe that anyone can positively change themselves and their bodies, and we will move heaven and earth to ensure that each and every person who works with us leaves feeling happier, more confident, and healthier.

In terms of equipment this gym is pretty good, lots of stuff from a variety, performance and injury prevention point of view, and far better than the other gyms I've trained in in HK.

As far as waiting to use equipment, it isn't mental at peak hour in the same way that the majority of commercial gyms are. They do seemed to be clued up enough to have multiple barbells, more than one squat rack, multiple benches, rather than one of every different trouser press machine. That means you can usually do exactly what you are supposed to be doing without having to wait for a lengthy period.

It is PT only, which isn't ideal for everyone, but the quality of PT is higher than I've come across elsewhere in HK. Also there is a culture, which is the antithesis to that found in many commercial gyms, whereby the trainers make no attempt to be a rent a friend. Instead, there is more of an emphasis on client education and being pushed further than you would push yourself on your own. For someone who knows about diet and exercise, you'll find some of the trainers here can still develop your knowledge as they have a mix of graduates and people who've been involved with professional sport, including a massage therapist who has worked with athletes on the international stage.

Can't comment about changing rooms etc., never actually used them but overall best gym I've been to in HK so far.
