Stephen Edwards (MCoun, PCPsych) provides supportive and professional counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults dealing with a wide range of issues including stress and anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship problems, career and vocational issues and life transitions. Stephen works in a client-centered way, using Emotion Focused and Jungian perspectives, with the aim of helping his clients deal with life’s inevitable problems in an authentic, empowered and growthful way. Prior to training in counselling and psychotherapy, Stephen served as an officer in the British Army based in Germany, then spent 19 years in investment, commercial and development banking, including 15 years in Asia. Stephen's previous experience in these very different fields substantially informs and enhances his work with his clients. Stephen is an individual member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS) and the British Psychological Society (BPS), a clinical member of the Hong Kong Institute of Analytical (Jungian) Psychology (HKIAP) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
