You can never look too young nor too old.

I just wanted to share my interesting experience with you.

It happened before the 4pm trip from Central to DB on Fathers Day when my mom and I went to buy a token for a single trip. As she comes here only once in a while, she prefers token. I myself have the multi-trip pass. She paid a fifty dollar note, got the change, and hurried across the gate. Only on the other side of the
gate that we found a normal adult fare of $31 was charged.
We talked to the terminal staff, and was told that the customer of any age should tell in advance what specific token is needed, otherwise normal adult fare will be charged.
Moreover, it was already too late when we
were on the other side of the gate, as the token could not be
retrieved from the gate machine and refund was not possible.

May be I should congratulate my mother that she look young and fit. In fact my mother is already 81 year old.
On the other hand, maybe we should take I responsibility
that we stood together when she paid and created the confusion.

I would also like to congratulate the company that they had found
another method to get extra fare. Running the ferry business must not be easy nowadays.

I must say that the DB ferry staff has always been helpful. I have
more than once getting back my lost items on the ferry and I am
    thankful to them.

We had no hard feeling. My final word is please share with your seniors or kids, that they can never look too young nor too old.

    Cheers, be happy.

How nice for your mum! She must be an amazing 81 year old!

I don't think I'd get away with that for mine, she looks a few years younger than her age, but not enough to get a discount :-)
