    Prices at Tung Chung?

    Hi All,

I'm wondering if you guys can give me some prices for apartments in Tung Chung. I talked to a few agents but they seem to be holding back and not telling me everything.

How much is a 600-700 square foot apartment to rent? Either 1 or 2 bedroom is fine. Is Carribean Coast cheaper because it's farther away from the MTR?

    Why aren't agents telling you?
There are loads of sites to do research: midland, centanet, rica, go home. etc etc.

Caribbean Coast is also cheaper because of its quality. Coastal Skyline is better quality and the prices are higher because of it.

Having rented in both i prefer Caribbean coast to Coastal Skyline, the air cons in the bedrooms are the whole in the wall type which are unusable as they are so noisy, this also makes the room noisy from the planes. We also hated the kitchen in the large 3 bed so narrow and dingy. CC are more spacious and have split level aircon in all rooms. You also get a balcony in CC which is great.
In honesty i saw no difference in quality both appear average which is about standard for HK.
Also now the walkway is open and having a shuttle bus to MTR it makes it more convenient than towers 1 ad 2 in CS and very easy to get to Tung chung.
