What`s TC Crescent like? Price and condition

My husband and I and our small baby are seriously considering moving to TC in the next month or so. We have been offered a fully furnished 2 bedroom (around 750sqft) for $8500. Is this a decent deal nowadays? My husband tried to look for real estate agents around the MTR to compare prices but he couldn`t find any.
We want to live in TC Crescent as it`s so close to the MTR as my husband will commute every day to Kwai Fong.

And also, for those living at TCC or in TC, how do you like it?

i've met many that live there and they seem quite happy. it is very near to the mtr so you are not reliant upon a shuttle bus.

you should like it. have no idea what the prices are like.
the agents are not in the MTR station... if you exit the MTR towards the cinema you'll see a little strip mall on the left hand side... there used to be 3 or 4 agents there.

i'd REALLY suggest taking a look at a few before you commit to anything.

have a close look at the kitchens. do you want a proper western oven? a larger fridge? etc.

I would looooove a western oven. But I wouldn`t choose an apartment just because of that. Plus, I think that condition would be a bit too much for our negotiations with this owner, as I have a few other things in mind that are more important to me right now.
One main problem is that it`s really hard to find a furnished place. We don`t want to buy all the furniture ourselves (hubbie doesn`t have the best package from his employers). Here in China, most apartments are furnished, but in HK it`s a different story.
I think the other complexes are a bit far from the station, according to the map and just the fact that they offer shuttle services. I know TCC is abotu 10 years old, but it`s a solid building.
I`ll tell my husband about the other real estate agents though. I can`t go since I`m stuck on mainland side waiting for baby`s passport.

jennifer, i would say that if an oven is one of hte things you would like, then ask the agents to show you flats with an oven.

the agents i was refering to are actually located under TCC.

The rents are low now. 2 BR flat with furnished for HK$8500 in TCC sounds high at this time. The ideal rental is 7.5K or below.
