Looking to move to the greens but were a bit put off when someone told us you can hear every neighbor around you! Any Green people to comment?

are u talking about village houses, if yes then you can hear your neighbours talking if they leave the windows open or the balcony doors open. i can even hear my top floor neighbours dogs run around in the living room and i live on the ground floor.
I was actually referring to greens towers.
Not heard of the place but if it's a newer building then you can expect to hear your neighbours. Newer buildings are built lighter (so they can be higher) with fewer beams; the sound travels very easily.
Harbour Green, Hong Kong | Emporis.com
Surprisingly mundane name, for a Hong Kong estate.
why no RICH FORTUNE GOLD SILVER DIAMOND PROSPERITY LUCKY WININNG ELDORADO or combination thereof?
Doesn't look like SHK is interested in this.
Everyone was throwing up which is why the ad was yanked.Original Post Deleted
There was an over the top ad for Grand Promenade which had an interesting tune, which prompted a lively discussion here-the music not the Grand Promenade.
I even downloaded the whole album but cannot even remember the tinest detail. Perhaps our admin could go trawling though the archives and enlighten us.
I'm pretty sure the op is talking about the Greens in DB.
You should ask Shakermaker, he lives there. I'm in Siena Two (opposite the Greens) and it's pretty quiet if you keep the windows shut. You hear the bus from time to time, and the airplanes too if you keep the windows open, but you get used to it.
Hi McMice,
No, you cannot hear your neighbours unless they are yelling at the top of their voices, and probably not even then. They would have to be in the lift lobby for you to be able to hear them and vice versa.
Through the kitchen and bathroom windows you may be able to hear loud appliances being used by your neighbours, but not in the living, dining and bedrooms.
The only serious noise issue comes from the heavy traffic on the main road. Buses, golf-carts, service vehicles and medium-sized delivery trucks are very, very loud when the windows are open albeit I am on a low-ish floor, but I am positive that the folks near the top can still hear the traffic if their windows are left open. Since it is the main road it is very busy.
I hope this has been of some help.
