The power plant is some 50KM northeast of HK.

Radio Free Asia first reported the incident last night and painted it as a significant incident w/ wholelotta cross-boarder inept governments coverups.

HKGovt plays down the threat to the population. HK Observatory reports no rise on top of background radiation.

I wonder if local pharmacy carries potassium iodine for thyroid protection over radioactive material. Better go check over lunch

I remember having to advise someone that was building control network for the Goverment which would be used if there was Nuclear attack or leakage. Well that was many years ago, so we have nothing to worry about now a days.

I'm watching the new government HQ being built and it it clearly has a bunker in the basement. The steel rods on the ceilings have separations of 1 or 2 inches in the basement floors. The walls are extremely thick too.
