    Seeing tongue

I have seen a documentary, looked it up on t wbTongue Vision - Research on sensory substitution and brain plasticity

Sensory substitution, brain plasticity and the possible applications for navigation in the blind. This blog describes the research I am conducting in the context of my Ph.d. project at Université de Montréal, École d'Optométrie.

What wonderful news. Professor Alain Ptito and Daniel Chebat are the researchers.
You Canadians would be very proud of them!!!

Okay, so that's the tongue and the eye removed, just got to figure out a way to stitch them together now...

Instead of knocking me all the time, why don't you put on your glasses and look under the name Alain Ptito, Professor of neurology. It is a big step in science even you should appreciate it.

I think if your intent is for us to appreciate new discoveries, you should explain them without us have to google it.

You have some sort of a void in your life that needs to be attended to.

Bryant's picture should really be censored. It's making me want to vomit.

You are right. Intelligent people to converse with.

If you read the quote and don't understand, read the article on the web.

So for your benefit: there is a new device placed on the tongue, to be used with special glasses for the blind to navigate , they are able to see shapes and forms. This is only the beginning in this research.

I think i read about this in New Scientist. Using the tongue as primary sensor for navigating abou in daily life. Not good if you work in a sewerage treatment plant though.
