Skin Disaster

Its been few months now, i getting whiteheads/blackheads and nasty spots all over my face, i do go to spa every month and wash/care as advised but somehow its not helping. I am using elemis lime cleaner a nd toner , dr murad vitamin c moisturizer , V c serum and night cream but hmmmmm...it just feels like waste of $. My skin is combination skin, oily and dehydrated.

Sounds like you may be using too many products. My dermatologist told me that serums and night creams are often heavy and full of skin irritants that cause breakouts, etc. Using products on top of eachother can make it even worse. When my skin went to hell after moving to HK I found a dermatologist who suggested scrapping the multiple products and using a fragrance free cleanser (like cetaphil) and a light moisturizer only on dry parts of the face. He also suggested a 10% sulfer mask 1-2 times a week for oily parts of the face.

Yeah i think i am using too many unnecessary products , well.. they said i needed this, i needed that and i didn't ask questions cos i thought they might knw better than me
