    Hi

Have some trouble with my teeth and have been a couple of times at Bayley&Jackson in Jardine House (close to Star Ferry Pier). It's a quite big practice with probably 15-20 Dental Surgeons. I was with Dr. Wor Lam a excellent guy...
Guess they are not the cheapest in town so root canal filling you can estimate about HK$ 3000-4000.

One other thing: They have a 24h emergency service. When I called once on Saturday night at AM I got a nurse on the phone and the dentist made an appointment at Sunday morning 8am..pretty good service

Hi - I tried out a newish place called The Smile in LKF - cleaning was only $450 and location is great. There's only one (bilingual) dentist Dr. Yeung. Number is 3101 0258. Hope that helps anyone looking!

Bayley & Jackson in Jardine House definitely is not the cheapest. The high price you paid does not mean you will receive the highest quality service. Dentists are commission paid. There are some dentists who want to be the top grosser and jack up the price. You have to be careful in choosing a dentist who is both ethically and morally balanced in his profession and personal life.
