    Lost of consciousness

I lost consciousness and had seizure for about one minute while sleeping. This was preceeded by discomfort/pain on my abdomen's RIGHT side. After my wife revived me,we
rushed to the hospital. Got confined for one night and one day. Test results (X-ray,ECG,CT scan on my brain, blood test, blood pressure) are all normal so I was discharged.I need a second opinion or additional test. Any recommendation? Any related experience?

Sleep Apena? No such experience but you might look into it based on what I have read. Not sure if its correlated with pain though. Don't think so. Sounds also to me based on the pain you might have had a mini-stroke of some sort.

I have a lady friend that once passed out, turned blue and stopped breathing and her bladder emptied. I gave her mouth to mouth and she revived quickly, called the ambulance, went through a bunch of tests and nothing was found. It's more than 10 years later and she has never had any problems, is extremely healthy and ran three marathons this year.

You obviously did the right thing and were checked out by experts... Seriously, I hope you don't think a bunch of anonymous trolls that don't know you can help with a diagnostic? If it only happens once and there is no apparent damage then forget about it. If you're uncomfortable with that then go seek more help from professionals but don't waste your time here playing guessing games.

Agree with Swannie, if you need a second opinion go see another doctor.

    Hope all will be well.

Definitely see a doctor. I have relevant experience of something similar. Boyfriend complained of severe abdominal pain and then stopped breathing...administered CPR, called ambulance, revived and after a battery of tests nothing was found. Doctor advised it was a syncope attack and had I not been there to restart heart and breathing, it would NOT have restarted itself. Thank goodness for CPR training!

Good luck and hope you find out what your problem is.

Curiously, the CPR training I have had said that CPR almost never restarts the heart, it just keeps blood and oxygen circulating until medical help arrives (and Wiki agrees). "Syncope" is just the fancy medical word for fainting.

Thank you. I'm going to read these links. No, I don't experience dizziness, migraine or fainting staring at a flashing light.

I once had a similar albeit different experience as a child. I woke to find myself in an ambulance. I'd a seizure for several minutes. Tests revealed nothing and the doctors said sometimes it was a once off. Indeed it hasn't reoccured in the last 25 years.

Of course get a second opinion too. Just relating my experience.
