shopping for health insurance; Bupa, AXA or HSBC

    Hi all,
in the past I've worked in big companies, and the company picked the plan; and I woudl go with the in network option.

Now that I'm in HK on my own I need to shop around for a health plan.
the company I work at now, is giving me an allowance of $450 USD/per yeat.
(I'm thinking $450 is very low, right? or is the the average rate out here?)

Right now my choices is as follows
    http://www.bupa.com.hk/chi/individuals.aspx

    https://www.hsbc.com.hk/1/2/hk/insurance/health?pwscmd=cmd_init

    http://www.axa.com.hk/html/AXA_PRO/chi/insurance/health%20protection/health_protection_chi.html?

Any suggestions? I've searched the forum, and saw a few people say Bupa is good, and one person said it sucked.

Bupa also have 2 types Bupa Care Healthnet, and Bupa CarePro.

If it's an option then I would simply take the usd450 and use the public health system, which is essentially free of charge and has very good reviews from everyone I know personally who has needed to use it.
