GP with digital X-Ray and MRI ?

I was wondering if anyone knows a GP that has X-Ray and MRI in his office, as opposed to a GP who will just write a referral and give me a list of locations I can go to.

Also, I would like it to be digital X-Ray's so that I dont have to wait 1 week for the followup.

Preferably in Quality Healthcare group is a huge plus!

    Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure Quality Healthcare has these machines in their Nathan Road branch, the one nearer to Homantin. I drove past there a few weeks ago.

    Thanks, but nope!
They said the same as a few other locations I called. They do film based, and can prepare films same day, but Doctor will not review with patient on same day. Must make secondary appointment 3 business days later. Utterly useless twats.

Any other suggestions for competent doctors who will do xrays and review during same session?

I had an xray yesterday after I dropped my bike on my foot. It took all but 5 minutes to get the xray.

Though, this won't help you as it's on the mainland.....

you're right, it doesnt help me...

as my local colleagues tell me, and what I believe should be the HK motto on the government website and possibly added to the flag:
    "It HK way"

P.S. I know this is a FWP rant...but you know, its a fking FWP!!!!!

Most of the public hospitals use digital X-Ray and MRI and are essentially free to Hong Kong residents.

If you dont know anyone inside, the waiting line to get an Xray or MRI is very very long, they might give you an appointment for DEC 2013 unless its very serious and needs looking at immediately.

Are you looking for an orthopedic doc? I would think this is the norm for them, X-ray and review on the same day.......
not sure about other specialties though.........

Quality Healthcare on Queen's Road Central do on the spot X-rays and review (although maybe only if they think it's serious enough) but it's not digital. I'll be very surprised if you find a GP with access to MRI since it's an expensive piece of kit and a little specialist for a GP.

My orthopod specialist referred me for a MRI. Took one day to get the appointment, and the results were back 48 hours later. Hardly a long wait.
