Has anyone heard of or tried microcurrent therapy for physical recovery?

My left hand and fingers has been numb for almost a month now. I have been seeing all different kinds of health professionals and they don't seem to help improve my condition. I currently come accross with a lady who works in Central as a pysiotherapist that specializes in microcurrent therapy. After completed 7 treatments, my condition doesn't seem to improve much so I am a bit sketpical whether this therapy works or not. Each session is quite expensive ($1000), so I want to hear if anyone has tried it and got healed from it.

I've searched on the internet and it seems like she's the only one that does microcurrent therapy in Hong Kong. But I might be wrong. So if anyone can reccomend me a good, skillful pysiotherapist that heals hand/fingers numbness, that would help me tons.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance!!!!

I really want to fully recover from my hand/fingers numbness!!!

    Please help!! Thanks again!!!

Have you had a licensed medical doctor take a look at it? That should be your first step.

Agree with CC here, 7 sessions and no result??

Edit: just noticed that you say you've seen many "health professionals"

Yes, but that seems strange that no qualified medical professionals could give any reason, suggestion or referral. Seems there is some info being left out. If I had numbness in my hand, I would continue to seek out advice from specialists etc.

I don't think this therapist is offering anything that others aren't. I had this therapy done after foot surgery to control pain around the site and to help stimulate healing. Can't say that I noticed anything after a few months of it and so I gave it up.

Your condition sounds similar to carpal tunnel syndrome - have you been to a specialist or just general health practitioners?

Op, does your health professionals include medical doctors? They should be the first ones to seek help from. Therapists etc should be seeked only after you've seen the doctors and have asked for their recommendation.

You need a diagnosis before seeking treatment.
