In need of physical therapy / orthopedics

I am recovering from a bicycling accident (run off route twisk
by a van that thought I really shouldn't be on the road),
broken ribs, crushed wrist, collapsed lung. But its the wrist
and hand I am working on now. I have been going to physical
therapy at a local hospital and think I need more attention than
    they are setup to provide.

Ideally, it would be good if an orthopedic surgeon was associated
with the clinic since I cannot rule out the need for additional surgery
(though hopefully not). My initial surgery was done at Prince Margaret
Hospital and they seem to have done a good job piecing the wrist
back together, but I am a long ways from a useable hand at this point.

I have seen peak performance mentioned as a possibility and also saw
a website for the Hong Kong Orthopaedic and Arthroscopy Centre mentioned.

I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone can provide.

    Thanks!

You should seriously consider having a sub specialist review your wrist injury in particular early on . The public hospitals are great for the life and limb saving patch up but a wrist needs special attention . If you can take your hospital discharge summary make an appointment with a hand wrist surgeon first .Asia medical specialist have one google them or any large private hospital . After the initial consult decide on physio etc . If you are youngish you need a good long term outcome

'Thanks, that certainly makes sense. While not young (59) I was kind of hoping
to use the hand a bit more down the road. I have Sun Life insurance currently,
hopefully I will be able to bill them for some of the expenses.
