    Annual Checkup

Anyone have a good clinic/doctor to recommend for my annual checkup? Perferably english speaking and on the island. Also how much was it and do you have the number?

    thanks in advance!

Just blood work or do you need a full physical?

Most of the labs have a "well being" checkup - blood + urine work. Costs about $1000-2000. All speak enough english to take your samples and give you a comprehensive report.

Might be worth looking at Groupon, often see a lab offering a basic blood + urine check up package for $300-500.

On the more expensive and comprehensive side, take a look at the health packages at the various private hospotals.

The baptist hospital costs are a lot more reasonable.

Canossa offers 'add-ons' to its basic packages.

    Then there's Tung Wah: http://www.tungwah.org.hk/upload/Med...t_Sept2011.pdf

A lot of people (that includes me & wife) will take a weekend, go down to BKK on a cheap fare, stay in a nice hotel for 2 nights and do the checkup on Saturday at one of the top end hospitals down there.

When you add up the costs (and the cost savings), it makes for a nice getaway for very reasonable price.
