    Dr Care Chiropractor Mong Kok

    Hi

Been having I going back pain from a squash injury a while back. Have been highly recommended to check out the above chiropractors.

Anyone got any experience of them? First time for me both in terms of Dr Care and also in terms of chiropractors in general so wanted to double check.

    Ta!

You are aware that chiropracters are not medical doctors?

Wouldn't it make more sense to consult someone with some medical qualifications?

I would be consulting a physiotherapist who specialises in sport injuries first. Who referred you to the chiropractor, was it your Dr?

Doctors just said rest it as it will go away in a month. That was 3 months ago. A close relative recommended the Dr Care guys.

A Doctor in Hong Kong recommended rest? Think that is a first... In my experience you pop in for blocked nose and before you know it the Doc has reffered you to 5 scans at his brothers practice, an MRI from his cousin, 3 trips to the dentist (why not) and a few grand worth of medication...

Anyhoo I concur with Natfix and Grunt on the physio rather than chiro if you are looking for a lasting solution.

So I guess no one has any direct experience of these guys and / chiropractors? Really appreciate the advice on the wider approach considerations, but for now, am specifically looking for a view on these guys and chiropractors in general. Thanks.

Chiropractors in general are not an effective way to deal with medical issues:

I have no experience of this chiropractor, but then I have no experience of any chiropractor - nor will I EVER have any experience of a chiropractor. It really doesn't matter which chiropractor you see, the outcome will be the same.

As HC and Claire say - chriropractic is quackery, it has no basis in science or medicine.

Why not go to see a witchdoctor or a faith healer?
