    Holi. Fun! Can I come?
I would vaccinate myself for typhoid, hep A and B plus malaria. Also make sure you are up to date with tetanus.

It didn't help I was always on business so never got to see any tourist sites!
Sounds like fun. My husband always seems to become involved in a traffic accident each visit for business ( he has a driver, but a bus always has to squeeze into the spot infront the size of half a car space. )If he SMS me, that's ok, but if his boss does, then I have reason to be worried.

In any of these countries, I make sure that I'm vaccinTed to the hilt, carry my own medicated soap plus Dettol wipes.

Beautiful place, fantastic food, magnificent landscapes and monuments but absolute misery really right next to it.

Going there for business is not the same, I did and that was ok.....but on ur own, in trains or buses etc it's fun but you indeed will come back with huge feelings ...some extremely positive, some extremely negative...it won't for sure leave u indifferent.

And yes scammers are all over (on a scale I had never seen)....but they are relatively easy to spot.

Just to add....it's a must visit place. Absolutely worth it to go. Just be very open minded but also cautious w hygiene and stuffs.
Spot on. Some of my strongest memories are from India, even though it was all business trips. Most places on Business trips I cannot recall a single thing about the place.....
