    Dr Ronald Leung is good.

He's based in Central, and speaks fantastic English (UK medical degree). Also, when you go to him he examines you quite thoroughly, and always has time to answer any questions.

However... He is 'incredibly' expensive. $1400 for a basic 15 minutes consultation, and his medicines are also really expensive. I only go to him because my insurance covers 100% of the cost.

    Hi Baini,
I just saw your post because I am looking for a derma as well, redness and itching around one eye. Did you see Dr. Leung? How was he?

Thank you for that! The doctor already gave me a referral letter and left it to me to find a doctor since the ones in my health care list can't see me until September. I'll look up the doctor in SaiYing Pun.

Just put some Zinc Oxide cream on your itchy area overnight
and then wash it off in the morning.
    You will see a difference! : )

In my case, any dermatologist was "good", and to only have to pay $100 or $65 per visit, and have an english speaking specialist provide whatever treatment I required, was terrific service.
I had a mole on my leg which I wanted checked for skin cancer. After a referral from my GP(the most expensive visit of the whole process) I used the government skin clinic at Yau Ma Tei, had the inital check, had the area cut out and stitched up. The biopsy and follow-up results, and the stitches taken out. Four visits for less than HK$500.
Yes, you might be the only foreigner in the waiting room, but for me, quite professional and competent service. I was given the "once over" to check for any other skin cancers, and have the access to follow-up checks at 6 monthly intervals...all for the cost per visit of a large cappuccino from Pacific Coffee. I'm definitely going back.
