    Weight loss group

    Hello all,

    just wondered if anyone knows of a group like weight watchers or slimming world that operates in HK, preferably on the island side.

    I don't know of such, but know what you mean. However, start with joining HK Hiking Meetup Group, and maybe someone on the forum here could recommend a decent dietician. That is a good start. Google Hong Kong Hiking Meet up.com, there are other fitness/sports groups in meet up HK. You get company, exercise and motivation. Diet is another matter and should be advised by someone qualified.

    Joe Cross's juice fasting diet is very popular with my very well fed middle aged ( Australian ) pilot mates, thanks to a very generous per diem during long haul layovers.



    All of my mates that have done this diet have kept the weight off and have not looked better since I've known them in Hong Kong. The first one tried it back in 2007/8 and he still looks awesome today.

    Another thing they all did after they lost the weight was:

    cut the beer out and really ask yourself honestly, why do you even drink that processed shit in a bottle ? You dont need the carbos stored in every bottle, and if it is only out of habit and ' being one of the ( sheeple ) boys, CUT IT OUT !



    cut white rice out if you are European and have a Andromorph ~ Mesomorph body type. RICE will FUCK you up and just turns to stored sugar.. You dont need to eat rice, so completely FUCK it off ! Keep away from pasta and noodles for the very same reason.

    greatly reduce eating outside food, increase ( unprocessed ) home cooked food once you are off the 60 day fast.

    cut commercial / refined bread out

    sugar !!! you'll be amazed how significant a difference that makes.
    no more soda pop, get rid of the sugar bowl, drink coffee black etc



    once my mates got back onto solid food they changed the ratio of vegetable intake to 70% of their dietary intake. They also started eating less red meat and introduced more fish ( salmon & tuna ) and made a concerted effort to avoid processed foods.

    As the weight poured off them, their vitality returned, the interest in fitness returned and they looked healthy and attractive.

    Another thing that works great, is to keep hydrated, drink at least a litre and a half of water during a typical day.

    You WILL start looking awesome within 2 months the results are that significant, but be warned, the first 30 days are the hardest as you break your usual eating food ritual.
