Wisdom Tooth removal

Hi

One of my friend need to get his lower wisdom tooth extracted . it is not paining yet but he prefer to get it removed. His dentist in HK has recommended him to a Surgeon as it may be near to nerve and he suggested to be done in expert care. The surgeon have quoted him 10000+ which he feels is high and would prefer to spend less.

Can you recommend any reasonable doctor in hk for removal or does anyone have any feedback for C.K.J. Professional Dental Hospital Group in Louhu Shenzen

Can be done for nearer $6k but it depends on how impacted etc and whether it requires cutting up etc.

is the wisdom tooth visible, heck I got one pulled out for 100$ in govt hospital and recently I got another one pulled out for HK$800 in private dentist in North Point.

Go to the government dental hospital. It will be much cheaper. Or fly to Bangkok and get it done along with a holiday. I've had all 4 of mine out - two in a dental hospital; two in the dentists chair (one of which was while on a hiking holiday due to extreme pain!). No obvious difference between them other than the cost. But even the most expensive one was less than that.

Have left all my wisdom teeth in different countries, $10,000 is crazy!

Had my last one out in Qingdao at Gentle Dental, cost me 750RMB, was better and less painful then the extraction I had in New Zealand at a 'top' dentist in Wellington.
