Convert X-Ray's & MRI's (Film based) to Digital

Anyone know where I can get film based X-Rays & MRI's converted to Digital format?

Alternatively just photograph them yourself. Put some white paper behind them (one by one) and then hold it up/stick it with blue tack to the window (light behind it) and take the photo.

I have to send annual x-rays to my doctors in Switzerland and the quality of the x-rays and scans I have sent has never been an issue for them.

I guess it depends which is more convenient for you given you may have a lot of films to do... but really it doesn't take long to photograph.
