    Dental Implants

I have been quoted €100,000 for 3 implants which seems a little pricey. Does anyone have recommendations for here or abroad for good quality implants at a better price?

I hope those are HKD not EUR....
I have gotten to a point where I try to avoid physicians and dentists in Hong Kong. Far inferior quality, horribly overpriced. I had very good experiences for dental and medical work in Thailand. Major stuff I usually get done in Germany. Can PM you details if you want.

Yes, highly recommend catching a 2.5 hour flight to Bangkok. If on a a low budget Fly Air Asia.
Quality of care is on par with US at about 20% of the cost. Please PM me for specific recommendation.

I had my teeth bleached at West Coast International Dental in Saigon a few years back and was very impressed. I know they do implants, too.

Onnuch or Prakanong Area will be cheaper than center area.
My UK friend did her root canal /implants about 25000 thai baht. but in the tourist place or expensive area will cost you 40000+ baht.

The only problem (well for me that is) you have to make at least 2 trips if not more.
But agree that it is ridiculously expensive here. What you have been quoted sounds about right if it is HKD.

Dental implants or any dental work

I have used BID (Bangkok International Dental Clinic) and Thantakit dental clinic both several times in the last 10 years. Both are excellent and have great prices. Thantakit posts detailed prices on their website and I think BID does too. I have now moved back to the states (after a decade in Asia) but I still go to Bangkok for my dental work. It is called the land of smiles because of the incredible reputation for great dentists. REALLY.

Hi, if your price is in Hong Kong dollars, it’s about right. Implants are not simple procedures, you may need to have bone implant, don’t know if that’s what they are called but your dentist needs to check your teeth, bones etc very carefully before he decides what’s best for you. Does your price include the veneers? Probably just the surgery and the three implants?
I’ve had several implants done myself by an excellent implant specialist, he’s undoubtedly one of the best... do you live in Hong Kong by the way? Honestly, you can’t possibly go abroad to get implants done because they need to be checked by the dentist who did your implants every three months. I’ve had a lot of problems with my teeth ever since I was little and I’ve seen more than my fair share of dentists... my dentist is really very detailed and experienced. I’ve had mine for three years now and they have had no problems whatsoever. Please let me know if you want his details.

Can’t hurt to share his details.
And also if you can share what he/she charges.

Btw the term is bone graft. Luckily that was not needed for mine.

I've had several implants done in Thailand. Excellent quality and much cheaper than HK. I use Silom Dental Building (you can find on google).
