Mole Mapping, or good dermatologist recommendations?

I found some very old threads on this and they had no results really. I tried google, didn't find anything. So last ditch attempt:

Does anyone know any doctors who do mole mapping?

As that seems unlikely, does anyone have any good dermatologists to recommend for keeping an eye on moles for skin cancer checkups?

Also I don't mind paying for private for this, but has anyone any experience in seeing a dermatologist in the public system?

I've had a mole removed thru the public system. It's a long wait to get the first appointment at a dermatological clinic, and then a still longer wait for the appointment time in public hospital for the removal. While the referral to the dermatology clinic was specifically for a couple of suspicious moles on my face and neck, I have a lot of moles and spots all over my body. I asked the clinic doctor if she could take a look at them to see if any would need closer checking and follow up; she flat out refused and suggested that I check them myself using mirrors, or if I have a family member or friend who could help to check. I thought the whole idea was that a medical specialist can better identify potential problems, which a layman cannot. Public side has so limited resources that they do not take care of ANYTHING else than the exact thing stated in your referral letter.

Just do it yourself with an app.

If you find any atypical ones, then see your GP for a referral.

This guy was getting well recommended online last year. At $2,000 a consult and a few weeks waiting he should be good!

    Dr Philip Hsieh
Room 1502, Takshing House, 20 Des Voeux Road, Central, Hong Kong
    Tel: 2521 8292

I've had a few moles/lesions removed over the years (I have very fair skin and old enough to have been brought up by parents who didn't yet know about these things) by Dr. Hsieh. I have always found him to be excellent, particularly with anything on the face, as his stitching was incredible.

Now does anyone has a good toe nail fungal dermatologist recommendation? Anyone has the oral type medication taken instead of topical application?

I caught a nail infection from a Shenzhen manicure some years ago. My GP gave me oral meds and it cleared with new nail growth. Shouldn't need a specialist for something like this.
