Question Deliver a prescription to avoid visiting an infected hospital?

My wife has to collect a prescription from the hospital for her mother tomorrow.

Since the nCoronaVirus is spreading via aerosols and her mother has weak lungs this seems like madness to risk nosocomial infection this way. How successful you are with your hygiene is a matter of how well the least attentive person is in your household.

Isn't there a way to collect a prescription hygienically?

Why not go to private clinic and get a prescription?

I presume you mean general /specialist outpatient : yes you can now collect on her behalf but the procedure varies a bit between clinic : basically approach the nurse at the clinic and ask about refill clinic : then if they agree the case is suitable just register and collect the script : the doctor will review the file : sometime there are blood result etc etc and need consult : but many refill are done for older patient at this time already over past few weeks and the patient doesn't need to attend in person: a similar thing is done around typhoon : because the doctors are generally not sitting around twiddling their thumbs and there is no unused quota and files don't review themselves the review of file is done in between cases so you might need to wait a bit :
