Check if the drug is under a patent in HK. If so, unlikely the public health system will provide the medication. As I understand, patented drugs are only available to high risk HA patients. They would instead write you a prescription to obtain the medication from a community pharmacy, wherein you could still get it at subsidised rates compared to a local pharmacy.
Does anyone know how much Humira costs at a pubic hospital?
Drug charges at HA are nominal. $15 per drug for a 16-week supply or as prescribed by the specialist/GP.
