    GP doctors and covid

If I currently see a GP doctor (public or private) stating COVID symptoms, will they do a RAT test or just give me general flu medicine?

Why would you need to see a GP?

And if you have a covid symptoms they can slap you with a compulsory pcr test notice. Was mentioned in one of the recent press conferences.

Just go and get it over with. If you have covid you get a cert, if you don't have covid you get another diagnosis on the cert.

Not sure what the problem is.

Prefer to stay at home and rest rather than line up to do a compulsory pcr test for me, my family, this building etc.

Do a RAT yourself and figure out if you are positive or not?

No one is doing building tests anymore.. Unless there is a large amount of virus detected in the sewage.

We have about 30 cases in our estate involving residents, cleaners, management.. No compulsory tests.

so basically you want to go get a sick leave cert that says COVID POSITIVE but dont want to line up for a PCR test and would rather get a GP clinic shut down for cleaning once you turn up and really do test positive?? If you tell them u feel like you have covid, they will shove you out the door with a broom stick lol

Have you tried some of the clinics like CENTRAL health and others that are consulting over video?
