    Travel / Vaccination Clinic?

    Hi guys,

Will be traveling rural China / Vietnam / Cambodia / Laos / etc. in the coming months and want to make sure I have all the appropriate vaccinations / pills / etc. before i leave.

Are there any travel clinics around the island? I don't have an HKID card so cost might be an issue. I vaguely remember somebody mentioning Matilda Int'l Hospital might be able to help..

    Anyone else in the know?

    Many thanks.

    Curious.

Anyway, there are two "official" Travel Health Clinics.
Details here: Travel Health Service About us
    From which a price list.

It isn't clear whether those prices apply to all or only to HK Residents - but there's a phone number you can call to find out.

    Thanks for the link.

I don't have an HKID as I am here for less than 6 months.

    Anyone else with suggestions?

Matilda Hospital has a clinic in Central where vaccinations are done.
    Matilda International Hospital

PDLM's suggestion is a good one for students, travellers passing through Hong Kong, and others on a budget as it tends to be less expensive. As that doesn't seem to be a concern for you, the Matilda Medical Centre is a good option.

Wish I had seen this six months ago.

Paid my GP HK$500 per Hep B shot out of pocket. Ugh.

I just checked with Matilda Hospital and the cost for both vaccination of Hepatitis A & B is about >$3000 (>$1000 per injection and 3 is needed)

This is ridiculous, unless the nurse provided me the wrong info.

Why on earth are you considering using the Matilda Hospital (essentially a 5* hotel with a maternity clinic attached) for vaccinations?

Hepatitis vaccinations are available at the link I posted above. Hep A 2*$185 + Hep B 3* $60 = HK$530 in total. (At least for HKID holders - it isn't clear from the website about non-residents)

The Adventist Hospital in Tsuen Wan years ago I had mine done here but cannot recall how much it cost.

If you're a uni student here in HK I suggest you go ask the medical clinic at the school to ask for a recommendation.
