Edit: you can get buckwheat pillows in Hong Kong, I got one from Tai Po Market. But get seen by a specialist first. Please?
Geo offers all kinds of specialist expertise! We are also plumbers, lawyers, helpers, and apparently sandwich chefs!

i posted the other day about my perforated discs and how I cope with pain, muscle spasms etc. After years of getting nowhere it was a reluctant consultant that finally agreed to an MRI and the disc diagnosis (impinging on a nerve) Worth it even to rule things out.

My back pain went away after I started hanging and pull ups

In addition to pillows and mattress, please look into your office chair/work area set up. I had a very comfortable office chair but back pain, went to a good chiro, felt great for a few days, then more back pain, repeat.

Then we moved offices and all got new office chairs (also comfortable). Back pain gone, that week.

You can try one of those super expensive places that tries to fit a chair to you or look on your own, not to mention any number of lumbar supports, supports for your feet under your desk, etc. I have cushions for my elbows on my desk that make me feel great (a gift, who knew?) Could take some trial and error on your part but try a few in the store, see if it helps. Tons of online shops for this kind of product as well, I think we have one in the US called "The Back Store."

Good luck to you and anyone suffering from back pain, it really sucks.

I was also recently in the US and had to drive from SC to NY and back again, causing back strain because of the terrible traffic where I tense up to stay alert (bad driving is everywhere).

I ended up buying this when I came back with a back-ache to use on chairs in my mother's place while I was staying there and working. It did help but the lumbar cushion was a little too large for me. Anyway, there are a ton of these products online, not that expensive, can help a bit.

I do dead hangs after deadlifts and shrugs, then farmer's carries to finish. Torches my grip!

Dead hangs are great for your shoulders too! That coupled with daily hip flexor stretches and my posture has improved considerably.
