Rule #1 from someone on this forum...

I just have absolutely zero trust in brokers selling me the best product instead of looking after their own commission, especially in HK
    Just saying...

Personally.. there are a handful of top rated insurance companies. Not too difficult to browse through their plans, if you're looking for strictly local critical medical insurance and don't need to cover every single possibility in life.

If its local, I would prefer a company that is locally based and has a local agent. Avoid some random bum fuck outfit based outside of HK because their plan sounds really good and is pushed by a fake rolex wearing punter who insists he is independent.

Yeah, many of these brokers/agents are of course out to make the most commissions from their advice. It’s their main objective. What’s going into their own pockets! It’s hard to trust any of them. Maybe keep doing your own research too. Call the companies too. Ask questions. You can at least trust yourself!
