It sounds like an awful lot of money for someone to make soups. Thinking aloud, surely there are recipes?
Umm, the attraction (for me) is someone takes the baby at night so you can sleep. Ask any new parent how much they would pay for this service after their 3rd night of not sleeping. I am sure they will bring you the baby if you are breastfeeding (or, hey, feed it expressed milk if you banked up during the day).

Sure, if you have help at home, can get some sleep, otherwise, the first couple of months are not a lot of great sleeping. I probably could have dealt with it better but had my first year law school exams during that time so would have given my right arm for something like this.

I don't think confinement nannies work nights? I've heard of those that come in during the day only? If the OP wants help at nights specifically a night nurse may be a better option. Although night nurses who've worked for friends usually try to get your baby feeding on a feeding schedule, which may not be ideal if you are wanting to exclusively breastfeed.

That's my point, people choose these confinement centers because they DO have night nurseries, like a hospital.
