Where to get Folic acid

Hi, hope someone can help?

In the UK the importance of taking Folic acid before pregnancy has recently been re-highlighted, however i have looked in a few places in HK from the posh supermarkets to vitamin shops but can't find the supplement anywhere. Could anyone advise where to buy it from over here?

Just go to an obstetrician's office and buy some. Or you can a prenatal vitamin at pretty much any pharmacy, mannings etc and it should have enough folic in it to cover your needs.

You can find Folic Acid in any mannings or GNC stores

if you go through the public system, they give it to you free of charge with your vitamins... also free...

Hi Flissy, latest reports documented this week here in Australia state that there is an ever increasing risk of asthma in children and they are putting it down to continued use of doses of Folic acid during the pregnancy. It is most important to have extra Folic Acid in the first trimester and not so much for the rest of the pregnancy.
