Wet market fish

    Indeed - you can not take an absolute position on 'fished' versus 'farmed' with out doing far more research on each type of fish purchased and which vendor it is from.
    If the OP wishes to do that then I could not praise and support them enough as it would be a very worthy investigation.

    my family and I eat wet market fish every night, and we are still very healthy and alive =)

    I've had no probs with the wet market fish, it's the bones left in by my DH that are going to kill me.

    The sooner they genetically modify fish to get rid of bones the better

    The fish is all safe, but comes from very unstable stocks, fished close to extinction.

    HK waters are almost completely barren, so our fish comes from further and further afield.

    Try the farmed freshwater fish or imported fish from sustainable sources - it's more difficult to find and most likely more expensive, but ethically is the difference between night and day.
