Feel free to pay European levels of tax if you want lifestyle treatments on the public health service!
I have just moved here and i was just asking a question!!!!!
As you can imagine its a pretty stressful affair and we have just been told no other choice but ivf, i have not checked around for any other prices from other doctors so i was just putting it out there but thanks for nothing!!
many would argue that infertility treatment is just a little bit different than, say, a facelift.
QMH offers fertility treatment at cheaper prices, but there is a long waiting list, or so i've heard.
Thanks.. no def not facelift my husband pretty ill last year which has resulted in poor sperm result..
In the UK, according to HEFA, the average cost of 1 cycle of IVF including drugs is between £4,000 and £8,000. So the top end is similar to that here. There is also probably a good deal more competition between clinics in the UK than in little old Hong Kong which keeps the prices down.
Check out the costs in Europe and the costs flights. Go with the cheaper one. I'm sure the success rates are about the same.
u can find more details about the Drs and cost on Hong Kong Baby, Pregnancy and Parenting Community - For Parents and Hong Kong Babies.
