price of infertility treatment in hong kong

Hi, i am just wondering does anyone know how much approx for infertility treatment in hong kong. I was advised today it would cost me between 70,000/75,000 hk dollars.
Which seems v high as european prices are half this..

Feel free to pay European levels of tax if you want lifestyle treatments on the public health service!

As you can imagine its a pretty stressful affair and we have just been told no other choice but ivf, i have not checked around for any other prices from other doctors so i was just putting it out there but thanks for nothing!!

many would argue that infertility treatment is just a little bit different than, say, a facelift.

QMH offers fertility treatment at cheaper prices, but there is a long waiting list, or so i've heard.

con: don't mind PDLM... he's missing the "compassion" chip with which many humans are born.

In the UK, according to HEFA, the average cost of 1 cycle of IVF including drugs is between £4,000 and £8,000. So the top end is similar to that here. There is also probably a good deal more competition between clinics in the UK than in little old Hong Kong which keeps the prices down.

Check out the costs in Europe and the costs flights. Go with the cheaper one. I'm sure the success rates are about the same.

Might be appropriate to ask this question / seek more advice in the GeoBaby forum...
