How does one go about refurbishing a battery? Add new Li-ions?? I'd be very wary, the 2nd hand batteries I've come across on ebay had very limited warranty.

be honest with you, there is really no guarantee on the 2nd hand or pre-owned battery, however, due to the cost-effective concern, there is still lota them.
