lol not sure about that jimbo...knowing max, it might well have been!
Hmm, been looking at the reviews of pretty much all the PDA phones and am even more confused as to what to buy now!
The Gigabyte has some of the best features, and I love the background noise and you can add to a call, caller lockout, etc but wth no predictive text input and lack of support I think I'd have to forget it.
The ASUS looks good but no 3G which could be a prob. Not sure if you could get one with English WM5.
Looked at the O2 atom and the new O2 atom exec. Both with English WM5. I know discobay has one and jay has a high spec O2. How are these for texting? Have to ask as I use text a lot. Any good features that may sway a decision?
Looked at the dopod as well, not convinced. The 900 looks like an old Texas Instruments scientific calculator when closed! The 818 is pretty much like the atom but with no wi-fi.
Hmm, what to do?
Jaykay, the 818 does have wi-fi infact it supports both b and g whereas the Atom only supports b.
The Atom has a virtual keyboard that you stab at with your stylus. It suggests matching words as you 'type'. I still prefer a real keyboard but this is a compromise for a smaller form factor (wow never thought I would use that phrase!).
discobay, my mistake, you are right it does supoort wi-fi. Just checked the specs online. Spurious information passed to me by the bloke in the phone shop on monday.......
Kinda looks like I may have to go for one of these, I'll see if one of the shops can show me a working model.
Hey, does anyone know where can I get the ASUS P525 with English WM5?
