Seek Computer Advice

1. Any shop sell "water cooling/no fan" system ?
Are the computer case much smaller or much bigger ? Use more space ?

2. i am thinking if i need one DVD-burner drive + one DVD drive
or better just one DVD-burner drive ?
Which is better option ?
Can only one drive also able to copy one dvd to another blank disc ? or need two drives ?

3. for back up the hard disk audio, pictures and video contents,
any method that is better than copy them all to a dvd disc ?

4. The computer shop i supported in the past closed, any good computer shop to recommend ?
better in Kln side.

5. What type of computer case is better now?
Is the one without screws good ?

Computer 298 in Wanchai 's Hennessy Road ain't exactly "Beyond the Black Stump" - so, if you can drag yourself away from Kowloon - there's one shop there which has "water cooling" devices in the window.

I know of no other locations selling such items - and I've visited many.

Yea.. ermm if you are like a 24/7 computer user that uses AMD. i think water cooler is the best solution.

But normally if you use intel with a decent cooling fan should work just fine.



and for your DVD Rom i think it would be the best to get the double layer. so you will get both +\- its pretty cheap anyway.

A: External Drives would be the best. Or you can use flash disk (but doesn't hold as much as HD)

uh...no. In the past, maybe. Newer AMD processors are faster and run cooler compared to Intel.

Water cooling is only an alternative considered when you are overclocking or need stable cooling while running CPU intensive applications.

Water cooling kits are available and are an aftermarket accessory for most PC's. Needless to say the components involved occupy a lot of space and require a lot of maintenance. No such thing as a "No Fan" system as proper cooling is necessary to ensure trouble-free use.

You could make do with one, but the copy function would mean you would have to devote enough space on your hard drive to transfer data to and from the DVD. Having two DVD drives saves you that time.

Yes. Use another hard drive. An external one is your best option.

There are several options. You can go to Sham Shui Po or even Mong Kok depending on what you are comfortable with.

Choose one that is designed for better airflow , maximum ventilation, and heat release. Cooler Master is a famous brand, so is Lian Li, Antec, etc.. One without screws is a good option as it eliminates fussy and messy assembly, and allows easy accessibility to inner components.
