    Yeah the prices were all the same. 2c gave me some freebies but nothing to get excited about. I did think about buying in the UK as will be there next week and claiming the Tax back but i could not finr the model on any websites from home... i think sony price fix.

    Does your laptop work in the UK, and where abouts is 'TC.'

    What do you do if you want to install stuff from a UK CD, such as a game or program?

    Surely it would not work..

    Why on earth do you think that a laptop purchased in the UK would not work here???? Mine is from NZ and works fine everywhere in the world.

    PS - you do know you commented on a really OLD thread, don't you?
