The NWZ-252 has, so far, proved to be an excellent recommendation

I have had them/it on for an 8k treadmill run (Serious perspiration!) and a gym session (including weights, crunches, press-ups etc.) and no effect on volume or tone. Good sound quality to boot.

Will continue to test but it's looking good!

    Thanks!

i noted from the beginning of this year (started going to the gym) one or two people had them, but by the end of the summer a lot more people used them.

i would get one as well, but i have too many mp3 players nor i am not serious enough (in gym or sports)

there is even a limited edition 'metal gear " solid camo ver

Anyone got a suggestion for a pair of head/earphones that are both sweat resistant and will stay in place during heavy exercise?

I currently use Sennheiser OMX-80 earphones (with adjustable hooks) but after a few Ks they start slipping out of place and letting sweat run into the ear canal (Or do ears have sweat glands inside?), making the sound almost inaudible.

I think the best solution may be an in-ear type headphone, i.e. with fairly rigid head band.

    Any suggestions??
I am really into my cardio and usually do 60-120 minutes a day.. I am a big (tall and muscular) and sweat a lot
the headphones I have been using for the past 8 years are Sony MDR35 which cost $10 -$13 US on Amazon or Ebay. I have a few over the head and a few behind the ear versions..they usually last me close to a year and can handle a lot of sweat and abuse. I use em with my Iphone or a Itouch and the sound is pretty good.

The NWZ-252 has so far proved to be excellent for sweatproofness etc., however the battery life seems to be very short. e.g. I charge fully (~2hours) use them for about an hour then leave overnight, by lunchtime the next day the battery is flat!

    Anyone else have this problem?

If the 2 sections are separated during storage, does the battery drain?
