    Question Satellite Radio in HK?

Is it possible to subscribe to XM or Sirius satellite radio and have it work in HK? Anyone know?

Almost certainly not - as I understand it these services are provided via geostationary satellites sitting over the US. That being so they are more or less exactly on the opposite side of the Earth so there's no chance of getting a signal in Hong Kong.

But Sirius make their service available online for US$12.95 per month.

and XM radio for US$7.99 per month: http://xmro.xmradio.com/xstream/index.jsp

the receiver you get is a Tongshi DAMB-R. It looks pretty good, it's protable enough to carry around and has a stereo headphone jack, if you drive, it has a FM transmitter so you can transmit out on an FM frequency and receive via FM on your car's system.

Don't ask me about the reception or quality(they say its near CD quality), I'm still thinkin if I should get it.

Does anyone here use worldspace? If so, please do drop us a line on reception and quality.
