Well, to make my question little more clear... Actually i wanted to learn Linux/Apache especially from the point of view of managing web servers. That's what i am interested in .. like troublehshooting, installation and maintenance.
Its like the same job what hosting crew delivers to 'managed servers' clients.

Doesn't change my answer, the RedHat & LPI training does exactly what you want. Note that there are other webservers, including commercial software: Zeus being quite powerful and popular for hosting companies, and even commercial management interfaces for Apache: Covalent being quite nice and even offers online training courses.

You often need to integrate with many different external components such as PHP, Ruby (on Rails), Python, Java (Tomcat), etc. Each of these can usually be installed through the Linux distributions package management system: no need to manually download and install like Windows users have to. This is why a RedHat training course is useful.

Googling "apache2 tutorial step by step", you'll find tons of tutorial guiding you to set up a webserver step-by-step, both in English and Chinese.. You can learn it by yourself. However you have to select a Linux distro first for running the webserver. Then you visit their website to get a more appropriate document. In case of difficulty post your problem there. There are nice folks willing to help you sharing their experience.

If you are new to linux I would suggest Gentoo the learning curve is steep but once you have it up and running you will be miles ahead compared to down the single click disto's .

Also there is a ton of wiki's for gentoo, apache is very easy to install and get up and running, O'Reilly books are very good to learn from.
