    It's not about the quality, this technique covers two main uses: resizing to different target sizes such as a web pages, on mobile devices, etc, then about making it easier to remove unwanted items, not necessarily photo artefacts, out of the picture.

    No it is not, you have to copy your image for using apple+T, then you can change the size, perspectives...

    This software certainly doesn't enlarge/shrink pixels, but removes them, that perhaps gives a different result, especially for big size prints.
    Anyway, this new product will certainly cost really a lot, and it is already possible to have good results with photoshop. I heard dxo permits to make such transformations (like ctrl/apple+T) during the file development, that gives good results.

    Its not a product its a research paper. It works on seems from top to bottom or left to right in the image to expand or reduce the size of the image. The video and paper are to show that this is more effective than traditional scaling techniques on horizontal or vertical lines.

    A few people have already created tools from the equations in the paper producing similar results.
