    anyone know ETA in HK?

BTW is HK$3,000 with the 16GB flash memory or with 8GB?
All I know so far is that its a November release date, Specific date and spec to be confirmed.

I've ordered mine with Clove computers in U.K and I've been quoted a price of 226 sterling which includes shipping, Even if it ships with only 4gb I'm still happy as it means I can ditch my Nokia 770.

I am keen in getting the Asus EEE but not even sure where I can order it as the shops at Wan Chai Comp. Centre look strangely at me when I ask.

Anybody know where in HK I can order the Asus EEE similar to what Jimbo has done in the UK.

I predict there's going to be more interesting offers in the marketplace for the next coming months, Asus EEE pricing is sooo different from the current offering in the market that it's going to shake that market quite a bit.

Looks like the expansys one might be overpriced.

There will be at least two different models of the Eee PC, with the $199 version using a 4GB flash hard drive and the $299 version using a 8GB drive.
Or it might be a UK import and the $-GBP rate might be mucking the price up... or a XP license cost.

UK its c£200 and in the US it is actually c.US$400, so the exchange rates haven't played a massive difference, esp when there is VAT on the UK models.

KIA, thanks for the links. Have seen some reviews already, but wanted a first hand Geo review!!

May go down to Wanchai and pick one up on Saturday.

However I'm debating whether to wait until the 8gb version comes out.
