    Lens and flashgun prices

I am considering purchasing the following items: -

    1/ Nikon speedlight SB910
2/ Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM

The usual variables apply, I want it ASAP but I dont want to pay a premium for it.

Can someone advise? Or better still, has someone got a good website linked to a shop in HK?

I will hold off buying here, if prices are more than 20% cheaper in hk.

    Thanks in advance.

    Haha...Kai cracks me up!

I know about that site but its UK prices. Which are same as what is in Jessops (UK camera shop chain).

Here are the prices shown to me, not sure if they differ from the UK prices:

    Flash: HK$ 3,630.00
    Lens: HK$ 8,500.00

The prices are usually in-line with other retailers like Fortress and Broadway. Dunno about the accuracy of the listings for those smaller shops that you can find via price.com.hk and if there are any drawbacks (like grey imports / warranty issues).

These prices are only slightly better than UK. I remember the days before the Japan earthquake 2011 that it was normal to expect at least 20% off uk prices for same product.

DigitalRev is a grey market importer to the UK primarily. Fortress is usually cheaper here.

Jessops the most reliable photographic shop in the UK are going to the wall today.

Its a sad sad day for photographers and thousands of workers.
