22" is just small specially for gaming & movies & 26" is just fine for a small room/ flat. IF you can go with a good name brand but if budget is of a concern the 26" Olevia would just be fine.

i'm using an olevia 26" & games like COD4, Crysis & The Orange Box looks gorgeous as long as you use HDMI same goes for movies.

thanks for the insight mengfei, i am now considering a 26" olevia (maybe the 526 model) instead of any other 22". unfortunately, the samsung 26" is way over our budget...

    Samsung LA40A550 or 650

Does anyone know if the Samsung 550 or 650 series can process PAL and NTSC signals?

For some strange reason Samsung doesn't advertise on their tech specs. I plan to return to the US and want to make sure it will work there as well.

Doesn't seem to be an issue for the Sharp 42GX3DH or LG.

    Any help would be great.

my friend ask about a Samsung, different model, & the sales guy said all Samsungs are multi systems & that goes for most branded ones except the China & not known brands, BUT to make sure it's better to ask the dealer.

i guess with this high end TV's their bound to be multi systems
