    HKpost and sending batteries

Has anyone posted anything containing a Li ion battery? (even for a watch)
    I understand its now prohibited.

Surely that would put an end to loads of ebay sales.

Any alternative way to send by airmail?

If it's found during scanning it goes back to the sender. I had that for a EMS package (were they thought it was a batt but it was something else and there was no reason to reject it).

is your recipient in hk or overseas?

if in HK, arrange with yahoo seller to trade at mtr station, then give to the recipient in person, no need to post

if overseas, try amazon ( uk, ca or us)and they will send it to recipient, i believe uk/us post will allow posting of new and sealed batteries unless amazon has their own couriers
