    Apple Genius Bar Appointment

I can never book any appointments via the online page, in any of the Apple Store Genius Bars in Hong Kong. Can I just do a walk-in with my MacBook here?

I know in the US and Mexico, you can just drop by and if any of their tech guys are available, they will help you out.

My colleague did it once with his iPhone here in Hong Kong, but was declined, he eventually got his problem solved by paying an external technician.

Anyone with similar experience to share?

You can go in and ask, they'll book you in with the next available genius.
Might be quick or an hour wait.
    Don't go on a weekend

It's currently very busy lately at Apple's Genius Bars as there's a replacement program for some iPhone 5 with battery issues, plus you have to contend with swathes of resellers who block book sessions.

Walk in with a Mac and it tends to be slightly easier to book an appointment, but as Jimbo says, it can be an hours wait or more.

What us wrong with your Mac?

    "Genius" bar?

Are these "Genius" titles based on successful "Graduation" from kindergarten?

I wouldn't like to drink at a bar that would have me as a member.

Can't you 'buy' the appointment online? For China Apple stores you can buy it on Taobao.

Wifi issues. My housemate's MBP detects and functions fine. My signal keeps dropping on and off. I tried to troubleshoot it, then I came across the news that a batch of 2013 MacBook Air has this problem, and Apple has an update package for it - however the update doesn't run on mine, and I have almost exhaust most trouble-shooting walkthroughs.

    Thanks!

I read that most people 'buy' their slots through resellers. Haha. I wouldn't support such shady activities though (plus, I have no idea where to purchase it from).
